Some of you will be glad to embrace the fall time change – For the families with kids going to bed at 9 or 9:30pm; you probably can’t wait! If your kids are going to bed at 7pm or 8pm – well, you are going to want to pay attention to these tips!
Start the preparation a week in advance. If, for example, your little one goes to bed at 7pm, the week prior you should put your little one to bed 15 minutes later each day until you hit 8pm. When the clocks change, your little one’s body has already begun to adjust to the new time.
Get ready for earlier mornings!
Be prepared. Your little one may be up a little earlier but it is encouraged that you put your baby or toddler down at the normal current nap/bed time. Please note it will be hard to keep them awake at some points in the day– get the music, games and stimulants ready!
